Visualize the mechanism of retinal ischemia action to communicate the science to HCP’s, KOL’s and non-expert audiences.

OBJECTIVE

Depict pathological processes associated with retinal ischemia by visualising the formation of retinal vessel atherosclerosis.

The retina is a unique and complicated complex of layered neurons that form the inner shell of the eye and are part of the visual analyzer.

SOLUTION

3D medical animation of atherosclerosis reflecting the sequence of pathological changes in vessels, their lipid infiltration with the formation of an atherosclerotic plaque.

The viewer is presented with frames that visualize the final stages of damage to the retina – activation of lipid peroxidation, destruction of cell membranes, and necrosis of the retinal cells.
